On April 17, 2021, Dylan Lee Lovell was killed during an attempted robbery. Dylan was sitting in traffic in his friend's car when 16-year-old Dorian Seay approached them. According to a prosecutor, Dylan "was holding some play money" and Dorian tried to take it from him. "When he failed, he pulled a gun and fired one time, striking Lovell in the chest."
