On April 5, 2015, Kelsie Angela Crow died of a gunshot wound. A stray bullet from a battle between rival groups of teenagers had hit the 17-year-old as she drove away from a birthday party. Rico Mosley was charged in Kelsie's death, but was acquitted after a key witness refused to testify against him. The judge in Rico's trial was reportedly "aware of threats against several witnesses."
