On March 19, 2021, Elijah James Wood was killed at work. A young man dressed all in black, including a face mask, entered the convenience store where Elijah was working and shot the 23-year-old. The murder went unsolved for almost one year, until the same gun was used in another killing 700 miles away, allowing investigators to zero in on Ahkil Crumpton, who has now been charged in Elijah's death.
