On March 14, 2012, Minnie Ray Sebolt was hit by stray gunfire. Minnie was accompanying a friend to a court appointment when Bartholomew Granger started shooting from a nearby truck. Bartholomew's target was his own daughter, who was testifying against him in a criminal trial that day. After firing at her — and accidentally hitting 79-year-old Minnie in the process — he ran her over with his vehicle. However, Minnie was the only fatality.
