On March 8, 2020, Brianna Sue Stephenson was fatally wounded in a drive-by shooting. Brianna was in the passenger seat of a car stopped at a traffic light when another vehicle approached and someone inside opened fire, striking the 19-year-old in the head. Based on witnesses' descriptions of the vehicle and shooter, Christopher Chisholm was arrested for the killing. However, since there was no forensic evidence placing Christopher at the scene, and the gun used was not in his sole possession, and he claimed that his vehicle had been lent out to someone else at the time, the murder charge against Christopher was dropped in early 2022. According to Christopher, the true gunman was another youth named Kamari Bailey.
