On March 6, 2021, Caleb Andrew Day was killed by a friend. Caleb was with Tejuan Files and others at Jeremiah Flowe's house when he was shot in the face. Jeremiah's sister called 911 and claimed that Caleb had killed himself while "playing with a gun," but evidence from the scene indicated that it was actually Tejuan who shot the 19-year-old, using a stolen firearm. After the shooting, Tejuan fled the home and the weapon was wiped clean and placed on Caleb's lap. Although Tejuan was initially charged with murder, in the end he and Jeremiah pleaded guilty to evidence tampering and were sentenced to a few years of probation.
