On March 2, 2016, Darrin Joss was gunned down in a workout room. Darrin had often argued with his neighbor, Reggie Daniel, about Reggie's flirting and harassment of Darrin's girlfriend and other women in the apartment building. Darrin was using the building's exercise facilities when Reggie wheeled up and shot him once in the head and then once in the chest after Darrin fell to the ground.
