On February 10, 2021, Dylan Scott Wall was killed at work. Dylan was delivering a package when Stephen Bynem emerged from the house next door, walked up to Dylan, and shot him multiple times. According to Dylan's mother, he was on the phone with a friend when Stephen approached; the 23-year-old father paused to say "hello" before he was shot, and then told his friend, "I think I'm dying." Shortly before attacking Dylan, Stephen's last public activity on social media was to "like" a post by his employer, which expressed "anger and frustration" about "acts of violence against people of color" and the supposed "racial injustice in our world today."
