On February 4, 2015, Ryan Mangan was hanging out at his house with a high school classmate. Maxwell Morton found a handgun in Ryan's home and shot him in the face with it. As Ryan lay dying, Maxwell took a grinning selfie with him and sent it to a friend, along with boastful messages. He left Ryan to be discovered later by his mother.
