On January 25, 2019, Carlie Gagliano Beaudin was beaten to death. She had been leaving work when Kenneth Freeman followed her through a parking garage, knocked her down, and stomped on Carlie's head and neck dozens of times. Kenneth left the 33-year-old nurse trapped under her own car, where she was found about two hours later, bleeding and partially frozen.

According to Carlie's husband, "Not hearing her laugh just from across the room... it hurts... She won't be able to be a mother. If there is one injustice in all this, it's that. Her not having one is just unfair." Kenneth was found "not guilty by reason of mental disease or defect" and ordered institutionalized for life.

When did black on white murderers become innocent due to using the crazy defense. Some states like Idaho don't have this statute. We all know a life sentence such as this means he could get out some day. Just insane.
