On January 11, 2015, Robert Thomas Christman was in a car with his girlfriend and little brother. Tony Ross and Christopher Grant approached the car and one of them opened a door to try to remove a purse from the vehicle. When Bobby objected, the intruder shot the 19-year-old in the head, killing him.
