On January 8, 2017, Catherine Ione Wicker was in a parking lot when a man drove up and tried to snatch her purse. In her struggle with the man, of whom we have only a police sketch, Catherine was run over by his car and dragged through the parking lot, which killed the 81-year-old widow.
