On December 14, 2018, Stacey Regina Childress was working as a clerk at a convenience store. TyChristian Ladson and Quinton Collins came in to rob the shop, wearing ski masks and carrying guns. Stacey attempted to defend herself with a handgun of her own, but was killed.
