On December 7, 1987, • Gregg Lindamood • Deborah Neil • Debra Vuylsteke • John Conte • James Nunn • Douglas Arthur • Neil Webb • Mary Webb and many others – 42 people in total – were killed by an airline employee. David Burke was under investigation for stealing from the job. Upset at his manager about being suspended from work, David used his credentials to board the manager's plane, carrying a concealed handgun. In the middle of the flight, David shot his manager, the pilots, and a flight attendant. The plane crashed into a hillside, killing everyone on board.
