On December 6, 2020, Travis Leon Rowden passed away. He had been stopped at an intersection in his pickup truck when Davion Potts and his girlfriend approached in another vehicle and began screaming at Travis. The traffic light turned green and Travis pulled away, so Davion shot at his truck, striking the 47-year-old in the head.

Davion was released on bond and never made it to trial, because he was shot and killed by another young man about a year after Travis's death. Upon hearing the news, Travis's sister expressed her disappointment: "I wanted Potts to sit down for a little bit and better himself and do better... I never wanted him to die. That's crazy."

Seriously...? She wanted her brother's killer to "better himself"? Maybe if he was sitting in a wood chipper to better himself.
