On November 28, 2016, Janina Lorraine Jefferson was found dead at work. Janina had just finalized her divorce from Eric Jones when he went to her workplace and waited to attack her outside. According to the officer who found Janina later, "she was lying in the middle of the parking lot. She was shot several times, one of them being executioner-style standing directly over top of her, while she was on the ground." Eric drove off in Janina's vehicle and has yet to be apprehended.
