On November 21, 2021, • Wilhelm Hospel, • Virginia Sorenson, • LeAnna Owen, • Jane Kulich, • Tamara Durand, and • Jackson Sparks were fatally wounded at a Christmas parade. Darrell Brooks deliberately drove an SUV through the parade route, attempting to strike as many participants and attendees as he could. In addition to killing Wilhelm, Virginia, LeAnna, Jane, Tamara, and 8-year-old Jackson, Darrell injured several dozen others.

An amateur rapper, Darrell had once described himself as a "terrorist" and a "killer," and wrote on social media that he looked forward to "knokkin white people TF out," including "the old white ppl."

If anyone deserves a swift death penalty, it is him. Yet our society has become so weak willed that he will probably spend less than 20 years in prison before some do-gooder group gets his multiple life sentences reversed and he is portrayed as a victim and released.
