On November 17, 1983, Rosalind Robison was abducted from college. Tommy Jackson and James Clary had been looking for a car to steal when they spotted Rosalind in a parking lot. They forced her to drive them to an ATM and withdraw money, then each of them raped the 24-year-old in her car. After James used Tommy's name within earshot of their victim, they decided to kill her. They bound her hands and shot her in the back of the head at a gravel pit, where her body was discovered about a month later.
