On November 6, 2016, Joshua Beasley was on a motorcycle ride when he pulled over to use his phone. Daniel Kitchen and his half-brother David Madumelu, who were in the area to attend a funeral, saw Joshua and decided to rob him. They took Joshua's wallet and shot him in the head.
