On October 30, 2014, Trey Alan Kurtz was on his way to a party. The 20-year-old had just started college after years of struggling with epilepsy, including multiple surgeries. As he was walking down the street, he was robbed and shot in the head by teenagers Michael Dixon, Jordan Graves, and Deperrion Lott.
