On October 27, 2007, Donald James Farrell was walking with some college friends when they were approached by a group of men, asking for directions to a party. Suddenly, the strangers violently attacked Donald and stole his wallet and phone. He died of an arterial rupture in his neck.
Investigators released descriptions of the perpetrators and surveillance images of one suspect nicknamed "Smoke," but the crime was never solved.
