On October 10, 2006, James Edward "Ned" Marshall was working at a convenience store in the early morning. Dontavious Mack and another teenager came to rob the store, which led to them shooting the 69-year-old in his hand, chest, and legs. Ned was found some time later, lying dead in a pool of blood. The killers got away with almost $85 in change. Ned left behind his wife, his son, two daughters, and eight grandchildren.
