On September 27, 2019, Kristine Gibbons was killed on the job. As a home health care assistant, the 54-year-old grandmother was visiting a house when she was shot in the doorway. Dominick Mohead, a 26-year-old relative of Kristine's patients, was soon arrested and charged with the killing.
According to one of Dominick's aunts, "[Kristine] took care of my grandmother and mother. She was beautiful. She was always there for me." Another aunt said Dominick was "special," and when Kristine arrived, he probably "woke up startled and was delusional and got scared... He is not a violent person at all. That child wouldn't harm nobody."
