On September 26, 2013, Cheyenne Green was killed at a junior high school football game. Cheyenne was meeting with her ex-boyfriend Jonathan Shepherd at halftime to retrieve their young son. But Jonathan got into Cheyenne's car with her and the toddler, ordering her at gunpoint to drive away with both of them. When Cheyenne tried to flee, Jonathan shot the 29-year-old. As she sat on the ground screaming in pain, he shot her two more times.
