On September 12, 1986, Sharon Brady and Samantha Brady were killed in their home. It was about a month after they had moved to the area when their neighbor, Ronald Kyles, used a large knife to cut his way through a screen window. He raped Sharon and 13-year-old Samantha before stabbing each of them several times in the back.
