On September 9, 2011, Barbara Exum was killed at work. Brandon Hawkins and Donquavious Russell came to rob her restaurant during closing time; Brandon went in and struck an employee in the head with his gun, then entered Barbara's office, grabbed her by the shirt and shot her in the chest. Brandon and Donquavious made off with about $1,000.
