On September 6, 2018, Gary and Jackie Dawn Skelton were found dead in their home. Keith Williams (just a few days out of prison for a previous firearm conviction) and Mitchell Brinson robbed and shot the Skeltons; Dakeithia Andrews was also charged with conspiracy in the crimes. The Skeltons left behind three sons and six grandchildren.
