On August 29, 2019, Lisa Georgieff was killed during a crime spree. Anthony Liston stole a car and drove it to a gas station where he shot a woman in the leg. Then he found Lisa. When she answered her door, Anthony shot her in the chest, then went inside and assaulted another woman and man, shooting the woman in the head. After this, Anthony drove to a parking lot where he tried to hotwire another vehicle and then threatened some people there with a screwdriver.
Anthony apparently knew Lisa and the other woman he killed; when the police apprehended him, he said he shot them because "he had never felt welcome there."
