Sir Jeffrey Carroll, who was turning 18 that day, put in an order to be delivered to a vacant house. Jalen Hughes, who was 13, removed the "For Sale" sign from the front lawn, and 20-year-old Latrell Richey shot James in the back as he tried to get away.
