On July 16, 2017, Jeffrey Worrell was resting on a park bench near his home. Meanwhile, Deykevious Russaw was riding with other teenagers in a stolen car when he saw some members of a rival gang and opened fire. One of his shots hit 63-year-old Jeffrey in the forehead, killing him instantly.
