On July 4, 1980, Mary Quillen and Lucinda Farmer were outside the building where they shared an apartment when they were each shot in the head. Harry Rowley, who also lived in their building, killed the 28- and 29-year old women because he saw them leaning on his car. He wasn't convicted of their murders until 2015.
