On June 30, 2021, Colby Austin Millsap was found dead at his home. Dangelo Clemons, who lived in an adjoining apartment, had shot Colby and kidnapped his 5-year-old daughter. When other neighbors heard the girl banging on a window and yelling that a "monster" had taken her, they contacted the police, who rescued her from Dangelo's home and discovered Colby next door.
