On June 27, 2017, Christ Edward Kneubuehl was killed at work. Known to his friends as the "Picasso of Tile," Christ was completing a flooring job at a restaurant with his stepson and two other young men when Nicholas Ivy and Xavier Fleming broke in. Threatening the workers with a fake gun, they forced Christ to use his tiling tools to try to open the restaurant's safe; he succeeded after about 45 minutes, but then suffered a heart attack from the stress. Barred from calling for paramedics, Christ's stepson tried to revive him with CPR but was unable.
