On June 26, 2014, Jacob Marc Rameau was out late at a bar when he learned that someone was stealing his brother's car from the parking lot. He got on his motorcycle and took off in pursuit of the thief, Dashawn Boylan, but some of Dashawn's friends were following the chase in another car. Robert Gee shot Jacob from the passenger-side window, causing him to crash and die.
