On June 23, 2014, Gina Marie Burger was kidnapped and killed. Ricki Williams lured the 16-year-old into a friend's apartment, told her to smoke a "last cigarette," then stabbed her to death. After smelling the bloody knife and taking pictures of the scene, he put Gina's body in a baby playpen to carry it to a dumpster. On his way, Ricki happened to pass Gina's unsuspecting mother and teasingly asked her if she wanted to buy some baby equipment. Only later, when the body and playpen were discovered in the trash, did Gina's mother realize the significance of this encounter. Outside of the apartment where Gina's life was taken, the 18-year-old Ricki left a message carved in the wall: "KILL FO FUN."
