On June 4, 2019, Ronald Trey Peters was walking down the street when two men got out of a truck, put masks on and demanded Ronald's handbag. One of the men shot Ronald in the chest and again in the neck after he fell to the ground. A third person was seen inside the truck. Police later arrested the young suspects: Tyreese Johnson, Shaleeya Moore, and Joshua Ellis.
