On May 13, 2016, Charles Allen Williams was found lying in the street. Shortly after Leonta Gates called for a cab and Charles picked him up, the young man robbed the 55-year-old driver and shot him in the head. Leonta drove the cab away and abandoned it elsewhere. Charles left behind several daughters and grandchildren.
