Sanchez is a sephardic jew mongrel.

Origin of the name Sanchez

Sanchez found among Sephardic jews (jews of Spanish and Portuguese descent). During the Spanish Inquisition, many Sephardic jews adopted common Spanish surnames or were forcibly converted to Catholicism (becoming conversos or crypto-jews), which is why Hispanic families with this name do have jewish ancestry.
