In Mass this past Sunday our monsignor announced they found a magazine for an AK47 outside our archdiocese. The archbishop spent the rest of last week doing security evaluations off all his parishes. Starting next week our parish has hired armed of duty police to sit at the front door in our narthex, with his weapon visible as a show of strength. Our monsignor asked everyone not to feel intimidated, but comforted since they are now implementing shooter training. He also "off record" implied that it would be wise if attendees we're self protected and reviewed with their families an exit strategy. The times we are living. A lot of priests are starting to give homolies on not being pushovers anymore and petitioning that the church start paying for bail on priest and staff who go to lawmakers and host rallies and sit-ins of civil disobedience to protest all the crazy laws and resolutions that are being proposed that could violate freedom of religion. Edit: I should add this was in Indy during the NRA convention. So there is no telling who planted that. It could have been a libtard trying to stir things up with another hoax to take a stab at the NRA. It could have been the government sessing out another false flag. Or it could have been a true hostile terrorist. Given the lack of publicity though it's very suspicious...
