Again, absolutely agree. Being an old guy, I know this to be true. Very few, if any really cared. If they kept their mouths shut and lived their lives just as every other folks in our society do, the general public just didn't care. It was their life and we as a people are generally tolerant. Then, of course, that wasn't good enough. The LGBT community as a whole decided it needed to ram it's perversions down our throats and demand things of the mainstream that even the mainstream doesn't enjoy. They went off the rail. I suppose when you can't biologically reproduce, you have to pull out all the stops to grow your community - LOL. Now, of course, Islam has become the new chosen people of the left, and the LGBT'ers are falling out of favor. Two distinctly opposite philosophies at play. For them (LGBT) they're just realizing that they've hitched their wagon to a falling star - LOL.
