Not comfortable with any of that info actually, especially considering what it implies regarding amygdala atrophy among the euro-pagan population.
So far as I can tell, kink is ancient. I've traced it back to like the Fall of Rome era, and while I never tried to go back further than that, I got no reason to believe Rome invented that stuff.
What your thoughts are on
It seems to be on par with what I vaguely recall being taught in High School. My only caution would be that the writer of this article seems to be one of them that considers humans to be 'biological robots', which is false. Phobias, OCD, anxiety attacks, and similar stuff have been overcome via certain methods like aversion therapy, CBT, desensitisation therapy, Hypnosis, Mindfulness meditation, etc. Fear only rules them that allow themselves to be ruled, as emotions only control them that do not choose to take back control.
