Sure it's disastrous, it's going to have a disastrous social impact for people on the ground, and at the same time that's exactly how one becomes against "immigration" (I hate that word it sounds like a dirty spider), by having some very bad experience(s) with it
To me, nothing short of a mass deportation program is required, not just a permanent stop to immigration, "remmigration" as in fucking mass deportations, as in get fucked, and if you don't like it we can do that the hard way
Anything less than that, isn't a really a solution, a mere temporary patch at best
So, what do you need? Rejection, continent wide. How do you get that, how does that happen? It happens for a reason.
