This part made me laugh.
The US EPA inspector noticed Apple had a 55-gallon container of corrosive liquid chemicals sitting in Apple's "Chemical Bunker," & the container's cap was removed
EPA said: hey Apple, why is that container open? Apple responded: its open so the vapors vent & it doesn't explode
I suppose that’s a good reason.
As she says in one of her replies, dangerous conditions like these are the reason tech companies shipped all of their chip fabrication overseas—mainly Taiwan. Taiwan has the right combination of people smart enough to do the work, but corrupt and amoral enough to save costs by slowly killing people.
I noticed the EHS manager and one of the two top EHS engineers at this facility both had Asian names.
The city tipped off Apple? Sounds like a good working relationship to me.
And I'm certain Apple's not the only one doing this.
I vent toxic gas sometimes while sitting in front of my MAC. Does that help to even things out any?
