I've been around the sun many times. I've never heard of being told not to get has before 6pm. Something about the ozone in the south?

I don't get it?

I remember hearing that before, get gas in the evening. Not sure why though, I usually get gas when I'm near a gas station, regardless of the hour.

Right?

Then some nigger is in front of you getting “two on two” then trying to haggle the paneer behind the counter on the price of a swisher sweet.

Then they turn around and ask if you can spot them a dollar to get a drink. Pfft...

I don't understand it either. Perhaps it has to do with that gas evaporates.

I read the advice was due to an air quality alert, unrelated to fueling activity.

Reid Vapor Pressure

Winter gasoline has a high RVP so it is more volatile and it will evaporate more quickly in the heat. Summer gasoline formulations have additives to lower the Reid Vapor Pressure so it won't evaporate as easily and "pollute" the air.

Reid Vapor Pressure (RVP) is a standardized laboratory test that measures a fuel's vapor pressure at 100°F in pounds per square inch (PSI). A higher RVP indicates that a fuel is more volatile, meaning it evaporates more easily. RVP is important because it affects vehicle emissions and how gasoline-powered vehicles operate.

So they don’t want me to pollute the air because it’s hot?

It's all bullshit. If they cared about the environment, they'd go after china and make regulate how much useless packaging and disposable crap that is peddled today. They just want to blame, inconvenience and tax us for fun and (((profit))).
