But you have to ask what's the point of a car company that makes cars no one wants to buy?
That's the part that will cut into the bottom line. No one really wants them, nor can they really afford them.
I was talking to a co-worker whose brother-in-law works at a Nissan dealer. Nissan has released some new electric car, and this guy was saying:
- They steer people away from the electric because it's not a good choice for drivers that drive a lot.
- Nissan doesn't say what the range will be in 5 years when you've charged the pack 1500 times.
- Nissan doesn't say what will happen to the car when the battery pack is out of warranty and fails.
