Sure it does. We've been hearing this bullshit for decades. You know what happens to almost all recycled plastic? It gets thrown into landfills. Recycling is a joke. It takes more resources and more energy to make recycled products than it does to make them from scratch -- recycling is actually *harder* on the environment than not recycling.
