Wow. Ok. Think in terms of the story you just read. A car started itself, moved itself, and identified itself for a repo person. Now, I understand there *aren't any* manual transmission cars that are going to start themselves and move themselves for you, but **in terms of the story** if there were, leaving it in neutral would prevent that. That's all, nothing else. The point is almost moot anyway, there are almost no manual transmission cars left - even supercars are made for sissies that can't handle a stick in their hands.
