Same happened to me. I *think* what happens is that: 1) you say something 2) a liberal gets upset and reports it 3) the automatic process then wants to verify that you aren’t a bot I can appreciate screening for bots. So, I “get it” from that standpoint. But even so, like you I haven’t given my number to reopen my account.
