spent years reporting people

I imagine he believes he is saving the world. I wonder what he could have accomplished if he stepped outside his door and used all that now wasted time volunteering for an organization where he might have actually made a difference?

I opened a twitter account 5 days ago and today it was locked and I need a cell phone for verification to unlock it. Fuck twitter

Same happened to me. I think what happens is that:

1) you say something 2) a liberal gets upset and reports it 3) the automatic process then wants to verify that you aren’t a bot

I can appreciate screening for bots. So, I “get it” from that standpoint.

But even so, like you I haven’t given my number to reopen my account.

I searched for a solution, reading about other people ir happened to it seems like a report isn't needed, it happens automatically.

There’s that word again: “hate speech”..

They use it as a catch-all for anything they don’t agree with.

They think that instead of being forced to defend poorly constructed ideas, they can just label anything that challenges them as “hate” and therefore, invalidate any competing ideas.

That’s not how adults have discussions. It is, however, how three-year-olds have discussions.

If a parent tells a child “no, you can’t have cookies for dinner”, the child may charge the parent with “hate”, but it doesn’t make it so.

Newsflash: not every disagreement is rooted in so-called “hate”. In fact, very little of them actually are.

And for the disagreements which are rooted in “hate”, so what? People have a right to voice their opinions whether hateful or otherwise. And you’re a fucking adult. “So and so doesn’t agree with me! Reeeeee!” is not an adult response.

They need to be taken to task on this forcefully every single time.
