We won't know until the policy is released. He is under no obligation to take their advice. It is a smart way to play the game to at least listen to their advisements.
Yeah, I would wait. The tweet simply says that he talked to them. They are going to sue him as soon as he starts unbanning people. (They won't win, but it will still be an expensive pain in the ass.) Having a policy in place, and then following the policy gives a lot of legal protection to this sort of thing. I'm betting that getting unbanned will probably require some kind of "verification," probably by putting in a credit card number for a $4.20 charge and then refund.
Then, if you get banned again, you can't get back on with that credit card.
I suppose, still kinda questionable.
Just long enough until after elections.
